Out with the Old, In with the New: The 2014 Edition

Shit is late…..but still relevant.

Sorry guys, I’ve been ghost for a little bit. But ya’ll know how the holidays be, stressful and financially draining. I will say that this has been the most enjoyable winter holiday in a long time, and I wrote this post around Christmas time.

‘I’m sitting in the car, driving back from Christmas dinner. John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ is playing, and it seemed liked the perfect time to write my final post for 2013.

It has been a hell of year to say the least. I’m sure it’s been crazy for you guys as well, and I am definitely not the same person I was when this year started. I would say that I am a much better person than I was in many ways. I have learned a lot about people, the value of life and love. I’ve learned valuable lessons in the face of pain and sadness. I’ve learned that I’m stronger emotionally than I ever could have imagined.

If I want things to be different, if I want something new, I have to be brave enough to take that chance.

It’s easy to make a list of aspirations and goals for the upcoming year, but what will you change about your love life?

We have been through a lot together this year readers. All I know is that I want more for us this new year. Bigger and better, more love, less heartbreak. I have high hopes for me and for you.

I want to take this time to thank anyone who even took the time to visit the site, my friends for their thoughtful responses and stories, and for you faithful readers. I appreciate those who have been rockin with me since the beginning. Thank you for giving a damn about what I have to say. You guys are amazing people.’

[fast forward to January 2nd. The new year is here bitches!]

To get things started, I want to share with you guys, a new project I’m working on. One of my goals this year, besides becoming fluent in Spanish and getting killer abs, is to answer anonymous questions about love, life, and relationships via ask.fm. Below you’ll find the link. It is available anytime, anywhere son. Be brave, this is just the beginning of yet another year of love, laughs, and insight. Let’s get it.
